Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Lies to the NY State Government

Image
Since  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions  lied to the  Better Business Bureau  about finding our lost belongings, lied to Google saying they had no idea that we were having a problem with them, and refused to pay us for the hundreds of dollars of clothing, bedding, lamps etc they lost, I was forced to contact the New York State Division of Consumer Protection. After they contacted Matthew Rojas of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, here is their follow up letter.              Pack and Stack Storage Solutions lies to the NY State government If you read them the letter it states that what Pack and Stack Storage Solutions says what happened and what we say happened are not the same (wow, imagine that). Since this government agency acts as a mediator in disputes, there was nothing they could do, since Pack and Stack Storage Solutions  lied and said they never lost our stuff, or that they found the stuff they lost and delivered...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Review on Merchant Circle

Image
Here's my Merchant Circle review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions . Here is a link explaining what Merchant Circle is , and why businesses should consider being linked on them. Again, my goal is to get the money that Pack and Stack Storage Solutions owes us.                         Do The Right Thing, Pack and Stack Storage Solutions By posting negative reviews in as many places as possible , and blogging about it, I hope to pressure Pack and Stack Storage Solutions owner Matthew Rojas into doing the right thing and reimbursing us for the hundreds of dollars worth of belongings of ours that they have lost. We can negotiate what to do with this blog, and the negative reviews that I have written, after Pack and Stack Storage Solutions does the right thing and reimburses us. But, so far there's no sign of any of that happening.

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on Facebook

Image
If you look at Pack and Stack Storage Solution's Facebook page, what immediately jumps out at you? It hasn't been updated in over 4 years. No posts, nothing. And, they don't respond to comments left there. Get With the 21st Century Pack and Stack This, like their lack of a strong presence on Twitter, is a sign of a company that doesn't take their customers seriously. If you wanted to ask a question, or complain, or give any type of criticism of the company positive or negative, there's no way to do it on Facebook. It's also wasting a potentially valuable business asset that doesn't cost you anything. Not only that, but if you're an unhappy customer like I am, I can leave negative reviews of the company right on their own Facebook page. And, since they never check their page, who know how long those reviews will be their scaring off their potential customers before Pack and Stack Storage Solutions figures it out?

Bark Review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions

Image
Here we have the review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions that I posted over at Bark.com.  This is another website where you can leave reviews of businesses that have ripped you off, or just subjected you to poor customer service. Bark is A Great Website for Reviewing Companies.   As you can see, they are geared towards helping customers find certain types of professionals and businesses that they may need. They specialize in small companies. They rank well on search engine searches, so if you post a review there there’s a good chance it will be seen by prospective customers. They are an easy website to work with, so it is worth familiarizing yourself with them. I had never heard of them before starting this blog, but I'm glad I did.

Pack And Stack Storage Solutions Superpages Review

I posted a Superpages review for Pack and Stack Storage Solutions because I believe in using all the quality websites that are available.     Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC packed and stored our daughter's belongings over the summer. They were supposed to redeliver everything to her when her new semester at college started. When they made the delivery one of the boxes wasn’t hers, but they had already left before we had a chance to open everything. We called them, and they picked up the box that didn't belong to her, but never came back to deliver her last box. We have been trying for 8 months to get our last box but they say they can’t find it, claim we’re lying about this whole thing, and won’t reimburse us for what they lost. We have personally spoken to and emailed Pack and Stack Storage Solutions owner Matthew Rojas about this. He screamed at my wife and called her a liar, and has repeatedly called my daughter and I liars, and even after se...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Review on City Search

I reviewed Pack and Stack Storage Solution 's horrible service and treatment of my family on City Search.  This is the link to that review.   Here is a block quote of the review itself.    We used Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC to store our child's belongings over the summer they were in college. When they came to deliver her belongings to her, Pack and Stack delivered a box that belonged to somebody else. We called Pack and Stack and they came and picked up the box of somebody else's stuff and presumably delivered it to them, but they never returned with our last box. When we called Pack and Stack Storage about this the owner yelled at us and said we were making up this whole story and since my child signed for the delivery (which she did before opening up all of the boxes) the order was complete and they wouldn't do anything. Pack and Stack claims to have looked in their warehouse for the missing box of stuff and say they couldn't fine it. ...

Hey, Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, Read This

Image
This is another article on consumer reputation management that somebody like Matthew Rojas of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions should read. It's about how it only takes one angry customer to significantly damage the reputation of your company. See, Matthew, I'm not just trying to get my money that you owe me, I'm actually trying to help you.

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Lies to the BBB

Image
We filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Pack and Stack Storage Solutions,  and I have previously explained why. And,  why as a business owner you should try very hard to resolve BBB complaints. Better Business Bureau complaints stay up on the internet for three years and rank very highly in search results. If you have a complaint on their website, people are going to see it when they do a web search for your company. Pack and Stack Storage Solution's  owner Matthew Rojas didn't resolve the issue we had. Not only that, Pack and Stack actually lied to the BBB and told them that they found the box of our belongings after a "thorough investigation" and returned it to us. Now, if that were true, then Pack and Stack Storage Solutions would have the paperwork showing the day and time he delivered this box, and it would've been signed by my daughter who would have personally received the package.           ...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Yellow Pages Review

Image
Here is our Yellow Pages review for Pack and Stack Storage Solutions.  You may need to click on the review link towards the bottom of the page to get the review to come up. YP.com (or The Yellow Pages) is another review site that scores well on search engines. If you have had problems with a business then one of the places you should consider posting a review is on YP.com. If you do, it will probably get seen. And, the company will likely see it as well, which hopefully will encourage them to resolve the issue you've had with them.

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Yelp Reviews

Image
Here's a link to  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions's Yelp reviews.  You can see their reviews are poor. Remember that for every bad review you see, it is estimated that twenty six that never got written. And, it is also estimated that each unhappy customer tells about 250 people one way or another about the bad experience they had with your company. And those unhappy customers may not have written the bad review they were thinking of writing, but they're letting hundreds of people know how unhappy they are.       Bad Yelp Reviews Can Hurt Your Company, So Don't Ignore Them Every bad Yelp review your company gets costs your company approximately thirty customers. In other words, my bad Yelp review may have already cost  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions  about thirty times more in lost business than it would have cost them to pay me the money that they owe me. Pack and Stack didn't even respond to the bad review.  Companies really should re...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Better Business Bureau Review

Image
We eventually had to get the Better Business Bureau  involved, since trying to reason with Matthew Rojas of  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions  was accomplishing nothing. I would have done better talking to a brick wall. Rojas continued to call us liars and say we were making everything up. All he had to do was talk to the delivery person Carl who did our delivery. Carl would have been able to confirm what we were saying was true. I mean, unless they decided not to tell the truth about it. It would definitely be something the delivery guy would remember. Anyway,  even after posting negative reviews online , Matthew Rojas still did nothing. It was like he didn't care about negative reviews about his company.                                  The Better Business Bureau Can Be Very Useful  The Better Business Bureau can be a useful asset, but they are only a med...

Dealing With Companies That Rip You Off

Image
So, you've ben ripped off by a company like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, now what? When I was at a loss for what the next step was regarding as far as trying to get the money that Matthew Rojas and  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC  owes us,  I scoured the Internet for advice . Several articles outlined the strategy that I am following now. In addition to calling and emailing the company, and leaving negative reviews at all the major websites, they recommended blogging about the company,  tweeting about them,  and  posting on Facebook about them , which I have doing. Except, the way I'm using Facebook is by posting negative reviews on the company's own Facebook page so any prospective customers who go there can see them. And, since Pack and Stack Storage Solutions hasn't posted on their own Facebook page for years, the company doesn't even know they are there. Which is pretty sad, but also pretty funny at the same time. The Better Bus...

Pack and Stack Storage Solution Google Review

Image
I am posting a link to my Google review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions here. I have also put a screen shot of the review below. There are other reviews of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions there as well. You need to move over to the right side of the page and click on the reviews. Pack and Stack Storage Solutions averages a pathetic 2.3 stars out of 5. Pretty horrible. It gets worse when you read the comments about what a miserable experience people have had with this company. In my review, I lay everything out in black and white, in a calm, clear manner. Google notified Matthew Rojas, the owner of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions about my negative review, and Matthew Rojas posts his response. Rojas states that Pack and Stack Storage Solutions was not aware that we were having any problems with them. We should contact customer service and they would take care of everything.                  Hey, Pack and Stack Storage Sol...

How To Avoid Moving And Storage Scams

Image
Yes,  Pack and Stack Storage Solutions   should be avoided at all costs, but Pack and Stack Storage Solutions is not the only sleazy moving company out there.  This article   has a good synopsis of how to avoid getting ripped off by movers.                                   Don't Let This Happen to You You'll notice that one of the key ways they get you is by  not accepting or making it difficult to use a credit card , which is one of the things that Pack and Stack Storage Solutions does. Never use a moving company that does not allow you to use a credit card. You will have no protection if anything bad happens, like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions losing a whole big box of my daughter's belongings and then pretending that it never happened. At least with a credit card you can get your moving expenses charged back to you and try to use the insurance that the cred...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on Ripoff Report

Image
I posted a negative review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on Ripoff Report . Please forgive any spelling mistakes, I was pretty ticked when I wrote it.   As I've mentioned , when you're writing negative reviews, try to use all the quality properties available. Ripoff Report does well in search engine results, and they're another website that tries to contact the company in question and mediate for you. No luck with Pack and Stack Storage Solutions , so the review will just stay up online forever and ever.

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Updated Pissed Consumer Review

Image
I posted my Pack and Stack Storage Solutions review on Pissed Consumer about a week ago. Pissed Consumer asked me for an update. They wanted to know if Pack and Stack Storage Solutions had contacted me to resolve the problem. I admire them for trying to follow up.  Unfortunately, Pack and Stack Storage Solutions has continued to refuse to pay us the money they owe us, and my updated Pissed Consumer review reflects that.

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on Twitter

There are other ways to use Twitter to get companies like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions that have ripped you off to get your money back besides tweeting at them on their Twitter feed. Actually, you can't even do that with this company because they don't have an active Twitter feed. Just like they don't have an active Facebook account. It hasn't been updated in about five years. One way is to do what I have done, and open a Twitter feed up with their name it, and use it to Tweet about them. Now, if you search on Twitter for Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, you get my Twitter feed as the number one search result. So, anyone who searches Twitter to find out about Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, complain about them, ask them a question etc. will get my feed about how Pack and Stack Storage Solutions ripped me off instead. which will not do wonders for Pack and Stack Storage Solutions business, I would think. Of course, if Matthew Rojas of Pack and Stack Storage...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions Blows Us Off

Image
Well, where I last left off I had said to  Pack and Stack Storage Solution's owner Matthew Rojas that I was going to post bad online reviews and he said he didn't want that to happen. But, then he didn't do anything to help us. Nothing. Rojas continued to insist that Pack and Stack Storage didn't lose our stuff and that we were liars and idiots. I was a liar, my wife was a liar, and my daughter was an idiot who wasn't even capable of understanding that in reality everything the company had stored for her had actually been delivered. Seriously. That's what he said, and I have his email to prove it. The company had actually delivered all of her things but she was too stupid to tell that. So, I called Matthew Rojas's bluff. I started posting reviews in the typical places.  Places that rank highly in Google searches, and waited for Pack and Stack's response. And waited. And waited. And...nothing. Nada. Zippo. Zilch. I mean, other than lying when he...

Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on Pissed Consumer

I put a negative review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on the Pissed Consumer website.   Here's a cut and paste of the review: If you want your belongings to disappear forever, these are the folks for you! | Pack and Stack Storage Solutions review from Newfield, New York 1.1 Details    Company packed and stored our stuff over the summer. When they delivered it back to us we realized one of the boxes wasn’t ours after they had left and we opened everything. We called them they picked up that box, but never came back to deliver our last box. We have been trying for 5 months to get our last box but they say they can’t find it, claim we’re lying about this whole thing, and won’t reimburse us for what they lost. The Better Business Bureau, the NY State Attorney General’s office and the NY State Consumer Protection Division all tried to get Pack and Stack to do the right thing a...
