So, you've ben ripped off by a company like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, now what? When I was at a loss for what the next step was regarding as far as trying to get the money that Matthew Rojas and Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC owes us, I scoured the Internet for advice. Several articles outlined the strategy that I am following now.
In addition to calling and emailing the company, and leaving negative reviews at all the major websites, they recommended blogging about the company, tweeting about them, and posting on Facebook about them, which I have doing. Except, the way I'm using Facebook is by posting negative reviews on the company's own Facebook page so any prospective customers who go there can see them. And, since Pack and Stack Storage Solutions hasn't posted on their own Facebook page for years, the company doesn't even know they are there. Which is pretty sad, but also pretty funny at the same time. The Better Business Bureau is another valuable resource. They will mediate between you and the company and try to help you get satisfaction. Reviews on the Better Business Bureau website stay up for three years, and score very well in search engine searches. People who look up the company online will find your BBB review. And, BBB reviews have more cache to them than other reviews do, so people will tend to take them more seriously.
Publishing negative reviews does more than publicize the reasons you should not hire whatever company ripped you. It is also meant to get the company’s attention. This has been a powerful strategy for the people who have written about it. This blog is an experiment in progress.
If it is not successful in getting Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC to give us the hundreds of dollars they owe us, it has been a valuable educational experience. I have learned how to buy domain names, the best type to buy, how to set up websites and web hosting etc. This blog started as a Wordpress blog at a well known web hosting company before moving over here to Blogger. I mainly did this because I can get a secure domain name without having to pay for it. But even still, it's amazing how inexpensive it all is, and it doesn't actually take that long.
Here's a link to Pack and Stack Storage Solutions's Yelp reviews. You can see their reviews are poor. Remember that for every bad review you see, it is estimated that twenty six that never got written. And, it is also estimated that each unhappy customer tells about 250 people one way or another about the bad experience they had with your company. And those unhappy customers may not have written the bad review they were thinking of writing, but they're letting hundreds of people know how unhappy they are. Bad Yelp Reviews Can Hurt Your Company, So Don't Ignore Them Every bad Yelp review your company gets costs your company approximately thirty customers. In other words, my bad Yelp review may have already cost Pack and Stack Storage Solutions about thirty times more in lost business than it would have cost them to pay me the money that they owe me. Pack and Stack didn't even respond to the bad review. Companies really should re...
We filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, and I have previously explained why. And, why as a business owner you should try very hard to resolve BBB complaints. Better Business Bureau complaints stay up on the internet for three years and rank very highly in search results. If you have a complaint on their website, people are going to see it when they do a web search for your company. Pack and Stack Storage Solution's owner Matthew Rojas didn't resolve the issue we had. Not only that, Pack and Stack actually lied to the BBB and told them that they found the box of our belongings after a "thorough investigation" and returned it to us. Now, if that were true, then Pack and Stack Storage Solutions would have the paperwork showing the day and time he delivered this box, and it would've been signed by my daughter who would have personally received the package. ...
