Pack and Stack Storage Solutions website sucks. Certainly as far as paying for your services is concerned. Why do I say this? Because there is no way to charge your move on their website itself. You need to actually call Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on the phone to use a credit card.
But, it gets even worse. When you call Pack and Stack Storage Solutions all you get is an answering service and they can't even take your credit card information. They pass on your message to somebody from Pack and Stack and they have to call you and take the information.
This also means you need to be able to answer their phone call when they call you, or you'll be playing phone tag with them. Personally, I work hard and I'm not able to answer my cellphone much of the day. I'm not even around my cellphone much of the day, and I know that many companies do not allow their employees to use their phones during working hours. This is not a customer friendly way of doing business.
By the way, speaking of websites, this is how Pack and Stack Storage Solutions actually describes themselves on their own Facebook page:
Founded by a college student with one goal in mind; to relieve the storage stress of college students across the country. As college students we felt the stress of maintaining high grades and remaining involved on campus. The last thing we wanted to do was worry about packing our belongings. The stress of finding storage is something many students face since many higher education institutions do not provide on campus storage opportunities, thus Pack and Stack Storage Solutions was brought to life. Understanding college students are on a budget, Pack and Stack Storage Solutions provides quality service at an affordable price. Our motivation to provide excellent customer service stems from past experiences with negative customer service. Pack and Stack Storage Solutions understands as students often times we are neglected or treated indifferently.
Dude, seriously?Yeah, sure. That is patently ridiculous. For a company that says it was founded by college students because they know college students often get treated indifferently or get neglected, and prides itself on providing excellent customer service because they have been the victims of bad customer service in the past, they sure do a terrible job of everything they're describing.
They certainly treated my college student daughter with indifference. They certainly neglected her in every possible way. Their customer service was the worst, probably, of any company I have ever dealt with, and I've been around the block a few times. Everything they say about themselves is a joke, at least as far as our case is concerned.
And, judging from the other poor reviews I've seen on the internet, we are not alone.
I also firmly believe that Pack and Stack makes it difficult to use a credit card on purpose. First of all, it is cheaper for them because they don't have to pay anything to the credit card company. Second, if you pay by check, you will have a much more difficult time getting your money back. With a credit card, you can call your credit card company, explain that Pack and Stack ripped you off, and get them to charge back the cost of what you paid, but with a check you can't.
If you ever decide to use Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, which I would strongly advise you not to do, I would make sure you go through whatever trouble you need to go through to use a credit card. You may wind up being very happy that you did.
Here's a link to Pack and Stack Storage Solutions's Yelp reviews. You can see their reviews are poor. Remember that for every bad review you see, it is estimated that twenty six that never got written. And, it is also estimated that each unhappy customer tells about 250 people one way or another about the bad experience they had with your company. And those unhappy customers may not have written the bad review they were thinking of writing, but they're letting hundreds of people know how unhappy they are. Bad Yelp Reviews Can Hurt Your Company, So Don't Ignore Them Every bad Yelp review your company gets costs your company approximately thirty customers. In other words, my bad Yelp review may have already cost Pack and Stack Storage Solutions about thirty times more in lost business than it would have cost them to pay me the money that they owe me. Pack and Stack didn't even respond to the bad review. Companies really should re...
So, you've been the victim of a scam by a company like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, now what? When I was at a loss for what the next step was regarding as far as trying to get the money that Matthew Rojas and Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC owes us, I scoured the Internet for advice . Several articles outlined the strategy that I am following now. In addition to calling and emailing the company, and leaving negative reviews at all the major websites, they recommended blogging about the company, tweeting about them, and posting on Facebook about them , which I am doing. Except, the way I'm using Facebook is by posting negative reviews on the company's own Facebook page so any prospective customers who go there can see them. And, since Pack and Stack Storage Solutions hasn't posted on their own Facebook page for years, the company doesn't even know they are there. Which is pretty sad, but also pretty funny at the same time. Hey, Pack and ...
I put a negative review of Pack and Stack Storage Solutions on the Pissed Consumer website. Here's a cut and paste of the review: If you want your belongings to disappear forever, these are the folks for you! | Pack and Stack Storage Solutions review from Newfield, New York 1.1 Details Company packed and stored our stuff over the summer. When they delivered it back to us we realized one of the boxes wasn’t ours after they had left and we opened everything. We called them they picked up that box, but never came back to deliver our last box. We have been trying for 5 months to get our last box but they say they can’t find it, claim we’re lying about this whole thing, and won’t reimburse us for what they lost. The Better Business Bureau, the NY State Attorney General’s office and the NY State Consumer Protection Division all tried to get Pack and Stack to do the right thing a...
