Well, Pack and Stack screwed up everything. What Pack and Stack Storage Solutions was supposed to do was pick up the boxes my daughter packed, put a bar code on them, give her a receipt for the pickup which has the bar codes on it, take the boxes to their warehouse and store it over the summer. So, she packed her belongings up, everything she was going to want for the following year, set up a pick up time, and Pack and Stack Storage Solutions came and picked up her stuff. And then, everything went into the proverbial toilet.
This Is What Happened to Our Money When We Hired Pack and Stack Storage SolutionsPack and Stack came to deliver my daughter's belongings which they had stored in their Syracuse warehouse. When they came, my daughter made sure they had brought the right number of boxes back, and that the bar codes were correct. She signed for the delivery, and the delivery person from Pack and Stack left. The delivery person's name was Carl by the way. I don't mention that to get him in trouble, only to show that what we're writing here is factually correct. Everything I say in this blog is true and documented.
When she opened one of the boxes, she found that it was not hers, that the bar code on the box was wrong. She called the company, who sent somebody to come over and pick up this box, and deliver it to the person it was meant to go to. The delivery person was supposed to come back with her last box of stuff, but never did.
My wife subsequently called the owner of the company, Matthew Rojas, to inquire when the last box of my daughter's things would be delivered. Much to my wife's surprise, Rojas went off on her, started screaming at her over the phone, saying she was a liar, and that all of my daughter's belongings had been delivered. Rojas claimed that we were making up this whole story. According to him it was simply impossible that such a thing could happen, and we must be running some kind of a scam to trick the company into giving us money.
And that begins our long journey to try to either get my daughter's last box, or to get Pack and Stack Storage Solutions to finally admit that they lost the box somehow, and send us a check that we can use to replace the items that the company lost. This has been ongoing since August of 2019. I am hoping that applying pressure to the company with bad online reviews, a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and by blogging about them, that they finally do the right thing, or at least make the right business decision, and pay us the money that they owe us. But, so far I'm still waiting.
Here's a link to Pack and Stack Storage Solutions's Yelp reviews. You can see their reviews are poor. Remember that for every bad review you see, it is estimated that twenty six that never got written. And, it is also estimated that each unhappy customer tells about 250 people one way or another about the bad experience they had with your company. And those unhappy customers may not have written the bad review they were thinking of writing, but they're letting hundreds of people know how unhappy they are. Bad Yelp Reviews Can Hurt Your Company, So Don't Ignore Them Every bad Yelp review your company gets costs your company approximately thirty customers. In other words, my bad Yelp review may have already cost Pack and Stack Storage Solutions about thirty times more in lost business than it would have cost them to pay me the money that they owe me. Pack and Stack didn't even respond to the bad review. Companies really should re...
We filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, and I have previously explained why. And, why as a business owner you should try very hard to resolve BBB complaints. Better Business Bureau complaints stay up on the internet for three years and rank very highly in search results. If you have a complaint on their website, people are going to see it when they do a web search for your company. Pack and Stack Storage Solution's owner Matthew Rojas didn't resolve the issue we had. Not only that, Pack and Stack actually lied to the BBB and told them that they found the box of our belongings after a "thorough investigation" and returned it to us. Now, if that were true, then Pack and Stack Storage Solutions would have the paperwork showing the day and time he delivered this box, and it would've been signed by my daughter who would have personally received the package. ...
So, you've been the victim of a scam by a company like Pack and Stack Storage Solutions, now what? When I was at a loss for what the next step was regarding as far as trying to get the money that Matthew Rojas and Pack and Stack Storage Solutions LLC owes us, I scoured the Internet for advice . Several articles outlined the strategy that I am following now. In addition to calling and emailing the company, and leaving negative reviews at all the major websites, they recommended blogging about the company, tweeting about them, and posting on Facebook about them , which I am doing. Except, the way I'm using Facebook is by posting negative reviews on the company's own Facebook page so any prospective customers who go there can see them. And, since Pack and Stack Storage Solutions hasn't posted on their own Facebook page for years, the company doesn't even know they are there. Which is pretty sad, but also pretty funny at the same time. Hey, Pack and ...
